The Denim Drop - Stansons

From the start, Stansons wanted something totally unique and fun for Clerkenwell Design Week. Being the biggest event in the industry it was really important to obviously stand out and be the talk of the town. Concept through to the shoot and socials throughout the event, to see it all come together and hear the feedback was awesome.

The whole idea really came about through not only my appreciation for vintage and pre-loved, but also we knew that designers in the space were some of the most stylish around, and who doesn't love a bit of denim? Sick and tired of the old standard company gifts, from calendars to mugs which really just get shoved to the back of the cupboard, we wanted something that was going to not only be sustainable, but also something that they would actualy really love to use and wear.

The Campaign Shoot

For the campaign shoot we went for a super eye-catching, yet fun take on a 'high-fashion' shoot, using hundreds of denim jackets for the shock and wow factor. Two familar faces joined in for the shoot to give it that extra personality and Stansons familiarity.

The Socials Led Campaign

We kept the socials alive with fun interactive content showing off the amount of jackets and just showing off the jackets in general. We had decided from the beginning that we wanted a sign up so all traffic was pushed to sign up to the event, we were sold out on all three days before we even got to Clerkenwell Design Week!

The Day Before

Stansons is breaking the mould, you don't get 'talked about' without a bit of controversy. We plastered Clerkenwell with hard to miss posters bringing to light good style, of course! The appeal was to Disruptive Designers in the industry that are doing something different with design, things that haven't been done before, and quite possibly going against the 'normality' and 'standard' design rules. That's what we wanted.

Event Documentation

Each day was photographed and the fun moments were filmed throughout along with a majority of denim 'jacketers' photographed when they'd finished. All images of people in jackets were posted at the end of the day giving that moment of 'let's find ourselves' on Stansons grid and a reason for them to come looking. Each new morning the previous day video was posted across socials to give that moment of excitement and curiosity.
